Harrogate's gotta hand it to Sully. Since the scope of Palin's social conservatism has begun to emerge centerstage, he's been going after her with everything he's got.
Nor is the "human interest" angle for attacking Palin, that Supa mentioned yesterday, lost on his Sullyness. Take this particular entry, for example.

Sullivan's point is very important. If, according to Republicans, the War on Terror is the most important existential struggle we have ever faced, then selecting someone without any foreign policy experience, except for a trip to a hospital in Kuwait and a close proximity to Russia undercuts that message. Further, since Palin has never addressed the subject and, even worse, stated in a recent interview that she "knows nothing about Iraq," it is almost impossible to take the Palin pick and the War in Terror very seriously.
She has no experience and has not even provided the American people with the ability to question her judgment, except for her admitting she knows nothing.
The pick just gets worse the more I think about it and the more I listen to her.
