The Roof is on Fire...

Earlier in the day, The Roof Almighty posted a Matt Damon interview where Damon addressed Sarah "I'm Close to Russia" Palin.

In an interview with a reporter form Maine, John McCain addresses Sarah "I'm qualified because I am a hockey mom" Palin. The interview is just painful. In comparison, Damon does a better job since he is more more believable.

Excluding the statements that are not baseless lies, the John McCain interview contains one fallacy after another: non-sequitur, red herring, emotive language, bandwagon, ad personam. Blah, Blah. Blah, Blah, Blah. Blah, Blah. I'm John McCain. Blah, Blah. Blah, Blah, Blah. Blah, Blah.

This entire election is absurd. We might as well speak in tongues. Oh wait.

Time's Joe Klein wants John McCain to apologize for his sleazy tactics like he did after supporting the Confederate Flag during his 2000 failed run. Right. That would take Honor.

Speaking of Honor. last night Harrogate was watching Hannity and Colmes, & Sean Hannity's head was exploding over the Obama quote about McCain not being able to define honor.

When a guest said McCain was running a dishonorable campaign, Hannity shook his head with sage sadness, "just despicable," he muttered.

Colmes to the rescue!!!! What the hell does McCain having been a POW matter in this context? he asked in his wormy, yet valiant way. Colmes went on to explain that McCain and Palin have nothing but Victim arguments and Smears.

Hmmmm. Colmes really has been animated these last four months, now that Harrogate thinks about it. Colmes seems to believe strongly that Obama will win and he feels empowered.

Maybe the American voter is pulling a Colmes here, is the point. We like our politics in crayon, but not THIS much crayon. If the people punish McCain at the polls, and reward the guy making appeals about issues and about the direction of the country, it will largely redeem this absurd election.

In Harrogate's Opinion.

With Colmes growing a spine, I wonder how much longer FOX viewers can continue to doubt the evidence for evolution.
