Meanwhile, on the "Maybe Huckabee Wasn't As Dangerous as McCain After All" front, we have this. (Heh. Sorry guys, Harrogate couldn't resist.)
And finally, the "Don't Tread on Me" category, as Katie Couric and CBS have called out McCain's shameless use them in his Ad.
Of course, McCain himself remains a pig, as illustrated by this, the last line of Smith's report:
McCain still has the ad, "Lipstick," on his website.

A few weeks back, BTD over at Talk Left wrote a piece that because the Obama campaign, however vague that term is in relation to who it includes, used the race card against the Clintons he could not effectively fight back against McCain when McCain accused Obama of using the race card when Obama stated that the RNC would try to make Obama the "black Candidate."
It is funny that BTD, the Clinton hack, I mean democratic supporter, has failed to criticize Senator Clinton for raising the gender card, without warrant, during the primary as now the Republicans can use it at will. With race BTD failed to include the Clintons since they could do no wrong; it was always the Obama supporters, which included any one from Obama himself to a random person on a blog. The silence from him on this is ironic.
One more point: long ago we attempted to discuss sexism from an interpretive standpoint. It did not go over well, especially from the Snowdens of yesteryear.
Well, here is your result. Any comment can be interpreted to mean anything so long as the audience wishes really hard. Plausible interpretations or warranted evidence is not required.
BTD, pure Decomposition. Anything Obama does beyond attack Bush, BTD shreds at him for it, and he's got a gaggle of commenters over there to egg him on. He doesn't have a shred of integrity left, although his opinion of himself certainly seems to be at an all-time high.
Jeralyn has been back to her former self, though. Purged of the Primary craziness, she struggles to reassert the principles her blog is about. After following her work for the last four years, Harrogate admires her a great deal.
BTW: Harrogate did not mean to come off as disregarding your point about BTD's hypocrisy and his deafening silence. He is agreeing with you that the guy lost all credibility a while back.
And you are right about him as a Clinton hack. The irony is that, one could hardly imagine someone as imaginative as Bill Clinton having even the tiniest bit of respect for someone like BTD.
