So after months of annoying me to contribute, here it is, the first post!
There is little doubt the movie will be a success but damn do they have to continue that boring-sobbing ass storyline of "Carrie" and "Big" aka, "John James Preston," the man who cannot settle down while she is the doll that everyone loves, yuk! Looks like Samantha is up to her old "tricks" while Charlotte and Harry are cute and boring as ever. Now the meat seems to be in the Steve and Miranda storyline. What might lead the sweet man down another path??? Could it be that nagging attitude???
While there is some (gasp!) truth to what you say, paperweight, I don't care. I love all of those characters, and I'm super excited about the movie. And if the storylines suck, there will at least be great fashion to enjoy.
Seriously, paperweight? This is the post that gets you here? You're as bad as solon! I hate that I intellectually agree with your analysis. But you won't kill my spirit! While I don't love Big like many other SATC fans do, I love love love Carrie and the girls (and the rest of the boys) and that's the whole point.
Yeah but come on, 6 six seasons worth, now followed up by the same old same old--I guess I just still annoyed by Big's name, "John." The man had a red wall for Pete's sake and "Johning" him makes him just another stiff that they could have picked up at a bar! Look at the names of all the other "significant" men in her life, they had somewhat interesting names.
None the less, I agree that sexy women running around NYC, can't go too wrong there.
