the Bush library complex will also feature an institute — independent of academic governance of the university — to sponsor research and programs designed to promote the vision of the president. At the press briefing announcing the agreement, Donald Evans, who chairs the president’s foundation, said that the complex would “celebrate” the president and his tenure in office.
Imagine that, no oversight from a governing body. While almost all of the other Presidential Libraries follow University standards, this will follow...um, nevermind.

What does that even mean: "to sponsor research and programs designed to promote the vision of the president?" The vision of which president--Bush? or the one who will take over for Bush? Do we really need to promote the vision of a president who is out of office? This is a sentence that could benefit from revision and reorganization. But then a lot of statements made by Bush and his advisors need could benefit from revision.
