My Favorite McDermott-ism

To offer a somewhat different engagement with McDermott's grand quote.

"The gut is an epistemological organ" is a manifestly true statement. Although, we always want to be wary of conflating this truism with the notion that the gut is "THE epistemological organ."

There are after all others.
