Why Diamond Dave is still the best frontman

As promised in my comments to Solon below, here are my two favorite remixes of DLR singing "Running with the Devil."

In this first remix, DLR's vocal track was laid over the Beatles's "Drive My Car." With video, no less!!

This second one puts Dave to the music of MJ's "Billy Jean."

I am scared about how well these songs go together. It is one thing to take stems from the same song, and the same key, and put them together.

However, to find different stems and then find the match....

Well Done I say....

I guess the lesson to be learned here is that Dave is more versatile than anyone could have possibly imagined.

So that, Finally, we see David Lee Roth being recognized for his primary contribution to America society: verily through him, lessons are to be learned.

Not just about pop music, mind ye. But about Art generally.

About love, and life, and death. And most importantly, the iconography of the Ice Cream Man.

For indeed, well before Big Worm was eliding the falsely constructed line between his money and his emotions: Diamond Dave had hawked his many flavors, and guaranteed satisfaction.
