He damned sure aint talking to a parrot in this one. Great use of music, too. And nothing in this Ad is untrue. Indeed, the truth may be hard to take for Progressive Democrats (those that are left) to take.
Ouch. Is it any wonder that The Nader is now polling at a Staggering 10% among Ohioans????? 10% of Independents in the State of Ohio. Just think about that for a moment.
Keep ignoring these issue at thy peril, Obama. Actually. Unfortunately. It is at all our Peril.

Just Harrogate's opinion, but seems like it's up to Obama to provide the anti-nausea medicine. All his rhetoric about common ground and how rhetoric itself matters.
And yet, what has he done exactly to lock up, or even appeal to, the progressive wing of this country? For a lot of people, "I'm not quite as bad as the Republicans" clearly isn;t cutting it.
Harrogate:
It barely cuts it for me.

The note at the bottom of this video as it winds down directs viewers to information about getting Nader in the debates.
Boy, if he were invited to participate! I think he would be a force to reckon with. Obama couldn't ignore him then; neither could McCain. Especially with these recent developments in the economy.
I think back to my first election: Bush v. Clinton v. Perot. With young voters concerned about national debt and the future of our economy, Perot was the man. And he did very well for an independent. He could have done even better had he not dropped out of the race, only to reenter a few weeks before the election. I voted for him.
Given the rhetorical situation in America, I think Nader could win over a significant number of voters if his message could reach them.
But that's just me. I'm not politically savvy. And as I've said before, I'm a fan of Darth Nader.

Well, it could play out any number of ways if Nader got on the stage. Maybe it would inspire Obama to "grow a pair," as Amy Poehler put it a couple of weeks ago. Attack Nader by agreeing with him. That's the strategy....
[Following a response where Nader attacks the influence of corporate lobbies.]
Schieffer: "Your rebuttal, Sen. Obama?"
Obama: "Uh, I have no response. That was perfect."
Nader: "That's the way you do it; that's the way you debate!"

Oxy! Hitting us with particular clip at this particular moment.
But then, to cite the wise hypothetical Obama that you present us with, what is there to say? Verily that was "perfect."
