Happy Friday Musical Tribute

A great musical experience this fair Friday afternoon, as we ease into the weekend.

It has been more than a year since Roof Almighty introduced Harrogate to the music of Joanna Newsome. Let this also be, then, a Tip of the Hat to him.

I'm sorry, but I cannot support your Tip of the Hat here. She sounds like 8 year old, someone who should instead be trying out for a local dinner theater production of Annie.

On a side note, it must be difficult to travel with that harp.

Granted, she's on the trilly side. Even her most dedicated listeners would probably admit she is not for all moods.

Harrogate also suspects that when she got her first record deal, she thought:

'yes! I don't have to carry that thing around anymore.'

When did Bjork learn to play the harp?

There is a palpable Bjorkishness about Newsome, tis true.

But then, in a cool moment of truth, Harrogate would likely admit the inclusion of Bjork's music, too, in the hodge-podge category "stuff Harrogate likes."

I laughed out loud, Solon.
