Like anyone else who knows anything about John Lewis, Harrogate has a lot of respect for the Congressman. But, what in hell does this:
“In recent days, there is a sense of movement and a sense of spirit,” said Mr. Lewis, a Georgia Democrat who endorsed Mrs. Clinton last fall. “Something is happening in America and people are prepared and ready to make that great leap.”
MEAN? If and when we make "that great leap", wherever will we land?
I think that Lewis is focusing on the American vision of progress. No one knows what the future will hold. But the uncertainty of the future is not a reason to go back to the 1990s as Clinton argues.
