It's only a perfect season if....

You win every game. Sorry New England, try again next year.

And Coach Belichick showed what a jackass he truly is... he walked off the field before the game ended....

And one wierd state: the team that finished first is passing and with the quarterback that threw for the most yards during the season is 0 - 42 in terms of winning a Superbowl.

Sorry Tom. Well, not really since you are going home with a super model. Literally.

Harrogate was eagerly awaiting your first crack at the game.

Yes, Harrogate and Mrs. Harrogate agreed Belichick's exit was about as classy as a side of ranch.

What a great game, though. Kudos to the Giants pass rush, one didn't have to be a football fan to see those guys were laying it all out in a big way.

And the Giants' last drive was a thing of beauty.

And, what a cleanly called game. The refs really seemed to let'em play. Nice change from the regular season games I watched.

I am not sure what i think about the officiating.

First, I am surprised that a ref dared to call a penalty on the Patriots. That normally does not happen.

Second, by letting the players play, the refs overlooked many obvious calls that would have been called in the regular season. The sideline catch by Toomer is a good example, since he pushed off so he could make the catch. Though, to be fair, Moss pushes off on almost every catch and the refs rarely call this. So to allow it against the Pats is some form of poetic justice.

I think that what matters most is that the Pats lost, allowing me the opportunity to repeat 18 - 1, 18 - 1, 18 - 1, with glee.

Two words: David Tyree.

Tyree's catch was one of the best, if not the best, Harrogate has ever seen, especially considering what was at stake. But then Eli's escape, and then the throw, were almost as impressive.

And that second compliment is big coming from Harrogate, who has talked shit about Eli since he came into the league. No longer. Harrogate knows when he's been licked.

As amazing as Tyree's catch was, it was easily preventable had R. Harrison not gone for the ball. I understand wanting to make a big interception and be the hero but when a receiver is going to get high like that, the right defensive play is to hit him in the guts.

That is not to take away from the catch which was spectacular.
