Refutation

I was trying to find a video clip that explains refutation for one of my mass lecture classes. My office mate suggested a clip from West Wing. We found this online, but I did not show it. This is an excellent clip but it would not work for a mass lecture class. It would only work for a small class in which you could discuss all of the implications. If you didn't, a charge of "indoctrination" would soon follow.

That was awesome, too bad there's not a Democrat anywhere in this country who would ever do such a thing. It makes Harrogate sick, these politicos like W.J. Clinton and Harold Ford building careers out of running around me-tooing the Rethugs.

It was not your purpose, solon, but that clip you show is a scathing indictment of today's Democratic Party and of those, like Harrogate, who continue to vote for it against their better judgments.

People like that lady radio host will never stop spewing their filth: wouldn't it be great if just once, someone with a podium had the guts to "Refute"?

Great clip. As soon as I read the description, I knew which one it was and watched it anyway. Seeing as more family members than I would like to admit are avid listeners of Dr. Laura, that scene warms a special place in my heart.
