DVR Question
So despite my vote for the Pres., do you think it is possible to program the DVR to skip all the standing ovations? Seems like these speeches would be much briefer and more enjoyable.
I actually like watching to see who stands and who doesn't. And, I would like a quick ticker of the sitters. Or perhaps text bubbles over their heads. Especially the republicans who remained seated when Obama talked healthcare for children.
You raise an interesting point SP, it is quite amusing to see the faces of those who clearly don't wish to be in the same room with their fellow politicians.

I wish! If everyone had stayed in their seats, the speech would have been at least 10 minutes shorter, which, frankly, I would have appreciated.
