New Rule

Stop using the "-gate" suffix to indicate a scandal. It's overdone and annoying.

  3. To commemorate the end of the -gates, I propose that we choose our favorite -gate scandal name.

    I think mine is a tie between nipplegate and Harrogate ;)

    In our household, this event is known as Pearly-gate.

    Harrogate.

    One wonders:
    Was the _Million Little Pieces_ scandal ever called Oprah-Gate?
